Bright Minds Mentor Program

scholarship information. Students are encouraged to share
what they have learned with their fellow students and teachers.
The Bright Minds Mentor Program will take place Wednesday,
June 12 during show hours. Learn more about the Bright Minds

Members of the RTAM Education & Information Exchange Tech
Group will hold the 10 th annual mentoring program. This year’s
program participants include students in the Pittsburgh area.
The program creates interest, excitement and an appreciation
for product development and rapid technology applications
among the high school students. Students are paired with
industry professionals as mentors who guide them through the
conference and exposition hall. Students are allocated a portion
of time to pair off with each other to experience the sessions
and exhibits without the mentors. To enhance their participation,
Design for DDM Student Competition
This annual student-only competition encourages student
designers to use their imaginations to design a product
intended to be, or be part of, a system that utilizes direct digital
manufacturing (DDM) features. The product must be able to be
used in another assembly, and it needs to be fabricated mainly
using DDM processes. The competition is open to university,
college, technical and high school students. The winning
design will be announced before the keynote presentations on
Wednesday, June 12.
