KITCO’s Fiber Splice Trays are designed to provide complete protection for delicate stripped fibers<br />
and splices for all types of fiber cable configurations and are designed to meet M24728/8 specifications.<br />
The aluminum trays are five inches wide to provide enhanced fiber management and<br />
are offered with a snap on cover. Crimp tabs and tie-down holes make it easy to secure all types<br />
of fiber and fiber cable sub-units. The trays also feature mounting thru-holes for installation into<br />
enclosures and higher density stacking.<br />

KITCO’s Splice Sleeve Holders are designed to accommodate our standard fusion splice protection<br />
sleeves. These flexible and high quality silicone rubber devices can accommodate up to 12<br />
splice sleeves and come with a high-peel strength 3M brand adhesive for easy application to almost<br />
any surface. Engineered to eliminate the concerns of water absorption, these holders may also be<br />
used for securing a variety of other types of fiber optic devices, such as splitters and mechanical<br />
splices.<br />

Standard series fusion splice protection sleeves<br />
KITCO’s “Standard Series” fusion splice protection sleeve is designed to provide robust performance<br />
and meet M24623/6-1 specifications. These sleeves have an after shrink diameter of 2.9mm<br />
and will accommodate fiber diameters up to 1.4mm. The splice protection sleeves are constructed<br />
with an inner EVA meltable adhesive tube, stainless steel strength member and a polyolefin heat<br />
shrink outer tube.<br />

The 0732-1112 Splice Tray Holder (STH) is designed to meet MIL-DTL-24728/8, PIN M24728/8-50<br />
for use in the MIL-I-24728 Fiber Optic Interconnection Box as an alternative to ST style patch<br />
panels. The STH will accommodate up to 4 each MIL-DTL-24728/8, PIN M24728/8-51 Splice<br />
Trays. Each splice tray can house 12 MIL-PRF-24623/6, PIN M24623/6-M24623/6-1 Splice<br />
Protectors. A fully populated STH will accommodate 48 splices offering a one-for-one replacement<br />
for ST’s.<br />
