Nadu noted for its cultural significance<br />
and associated with Nataraja or Lord Shiva<br />
in his Ananda Tandava in the cosmic golden<br />
hall. She says it was a dream come true<br />
to perform there and is grateful to her<br />
Guru Smt. Rajamani for bestowing the<br />
opportunity on her.<br />
As a teacher she is satisfied with her<br />
disciples who are now teachers and have<br />
opened their own dance schools and feels<br />
that they are doing well individually and<br />
when required, work together in unison<br />
to give great shows like Mother Earth,<br />
a charity show to create awareness about<br />
sensitizing people . Of the teachers Ms.<br />
Sadhana Mohan is doing her masters in<br />
law and proudly mentions that she has<br />
not taken a vacation since she started<br />
her own dance classes. She loves to fuse<br />
the classical and the modern in order<br />
to make it interesting to her students.<br />
Namita Ajodhia, Kavita Ramphal,and Maalti<br />
Nidhaansingh are other teachers<br />
dedicatedly taking Bharatnatyam far in this<br />
multi ethnic society.<br />
Bhawna Sexena is <strong>Hindi</strong> and Cultural attache in Indian Embassy<br />
