With reference to your application for appointment to <strong>the</strong> post <strong>of</strong><br />

Stenographers in Civil Courts, <strong>the</strong> Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court has been pleased to finally<br />

select you as per <strong>the</strong> merit list communicated vide letter no. 3307/Accts, dt. 15-5-2008.<br />

Accordingly you are appointed in <strong>the</strong> pay scale <strong>of</strong> Rs. 4000-100-150- 6000/- on temporary basis<br />

subject to <strong>the</strong> conditions laid down in rule 46 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Jharkhand Civil Court Staff (Recruitment<br />

and Appointment) Rules in <strong>the</strong> Judgeship <strong>of</strong> <strong>Ranchi</strong>, subject to <strong>the</strong> following condition.<br />

It is clarified that <strong>the</strong> aforesaid appointment is subject to <strong>the</strong> final<br />

Judgment/order <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hon’ble Court in W.P.(S) No. 5335/2007 (Santosh Kumar & Ors.<br />

Vs. Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court & Ors.).<br />

The aforesaid appointment is purely on temporary basis which may be<br />

terminated at any time without any prior notice. The appointee will be on probation for three<br />

years. Expiry <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> period <strong>of</strong> probation shall, however, not result in automatic confirmation.<br />

No traveling allowance is admissible for jointing <strong>the</strong> post.<br />

The appointee will have to produce all original documents and to submit<br />

<strong>the</strong> following documents at <strong>the</strong> time joining <strong>the</strong> post:-<br />

a. Medical Certificate <strong>of</strong> fitness, in original, issued under <strong>the</strong> signature <strong>of</strong> a Medical<br />

<strong>Office</strong>r not below <strong>the</strong> rank <strong>of</strong> Assistant Civil Surgeon <strong>of</strong> a Government Hospital in<br />

his/her favour.<br />

b. Copy <strong>of</strong> Caste certificate ei<strong>the</strong>r issued under <strong>the</strong> signature <strong>of</strong> or counter signed by <strong>the</strong><br />

concerned District Magistrate/ Deputy <strong>Commissioner</strong> (in case <strong>of</strong> S.C., S.T. and<br />

O.B.C. candidates only), duly attested by a Gazetted <strong>Office</strong>r.<br />

c. Copy <strong>of</strong> Original/ Provisional certificate in support <strong>of</strong> academic qualification<br />

including certificates <strong>of</strong> technical qualification viz. Shorthand, Typing, Computer etc.<br />

as also for ascertaining his/her date <strong>of</strong> birth, duly attested by Gazetted <strong>Office</strong>r.<br />

d. Copy <strong>of</strong> certificate regarding disability issued by <strong>the</strong> competent authority (in case <strong>of</strong><br />

Physically Handicapped candidates only), duly attested by a Gazetted <strong>Office</strong>r.<br />

e. A declaration on oath stating <strong>the</strong>rein that he will not demand or take dowry in his<br />

marriage.<br />

f. ‘No Objection Certificate’ from <strong>the</strong> employer if he/she is working in Govt.<br />

Department or Public Undertaking.<br />
