PAWS Announcement Request Form for ON-CAMPUS groups
Announcements containing information of relevance to all University of
Saskatchewan international students will be posted as follows:
MONDAYS: ISSAC specific information for the upcoming week (including cross
cultural events, I-Connect activities, grad student and family activities, ISSAC
information, immigration/tax information, Global Connections group events
such as international student association or club events).
NOTE: Groups and/or persons requesting permission to post for the first time must
complete a PAWS Announcement Approval Form. Approval of the form requires
a minimum of five (5) working days. The form must be completed every year.
Information posted to the PAWS group must be of relevance to all international
students. For example, we will not post an announcement that only applies to
students from a certain ethnic or cultural background (unless it is an official message
from a government agency). In order for ISSAC to post an announcement on your
behalf, please complete following announcement template and submit electronically
to international.students@usask.ca
** if you choose not to complete the template, please provide all required
information in an email**
o Deadline for Monday’s posting is the previous Friday.
NOTE: ISSAC reserves the right to deny any posting requests; as well as to post
information on the online calendar and/or ISSAC blog, in lieu of a targeted PAWS
announcement.
If you would like ISSAC to attach an image (i.e.: poster, logo, etc.) to the blog
posting, please send it as a .pdf or .jpg file.
