Scholarship Recipients: Accommodations will be booked as per your letter of acceptance.
The hotel requires a personal credit card, cash or debit card deposit at check-in to cover
incidentals.
Individual Attendees: If you do not have a scholarship to attend, you are responsible for
making your own hotel reservations. Out-of-town delegates are encouraged to stay at the
Delta Chelsea, which is just one elevator ride away from meetings. Please make your
reservations by April 27, 2012 to qualify for our group rate and ensure availability.
If your accommodations are not covered by scholarship, you will be required to
guarantee your reservation with a major credit card, cash or debit card deposit.

The Delta Chelsea offers reasonable room rates ($139 + taxes) and an excellent location in
the heart of downtown Toronto. Most guest rooms feature two double beds, or one king
size bed. The Delta Chelsea also boasts an indoor pool, sauna and fitness facilities and is
minutes away from College subway station, the city’s central business district, government
offices and the city’s best shopping districts. The Delta Chelsea is a fully non-smoking hotel.
Accessibility
All meeting space is fully accessible by wheelchair. If you require a fully accessible room,
please inform the hotel staff when you make your reservations.

Scholarship Recipients
Accommodations
Accommodation costs covered by a scholarship will be paid for directly by CAS to the Delta
Chelsea. Reservations with the hotel will be coordinated through Bernice Aye, CAS Executive
Assistant.
Recipients will be offered the opportunity to share a room without charge, or will receive a
credit of up to 50% on a single room rate. Further details will be sent directly to you.
Travel
Scholarship recipients whose travel costs are covered are to book their travel plans with the
CAS travel agent, Julie Charron, Uniglobe Aquavacs Travel (details above). The travel costs
will be awarded in the form of a credit with CAS’ travel agency. Booking information and any
restrictions will be provided to successful applicants.
Local Travel Information
Arrival at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport
Please note that if you are arriving to or departing from the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport,
you must take a 90-second ferry ride to and from the mainland. The ferry is free for
pedestrians and $11 (round trip) for vehicles. http://www.torontoport.com/airport.aspx
There is no shuttle service offered from the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to the Delta
Chelsea. There is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Billy Bishop approximately every
15 minutes at the west entrance of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel (100 Front Street West,
Toronto, ON M5J 1E4) approx 2 km from the Delta Chelsea.
Arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport
Airport Express provides comfortable and reliable ground transportation between the Lester
B. Pearson International Airport and some hotels in downtown Toronto. The shuttle departs
from Terminal 3 daily at 20 & 50 minutes after the hour, and stops at Terminal 1 at 25 & 55
minutes after the hour before heading downtown. The main route service operates between
5:20 AM to 12:50 AM.

Within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), rates are predetermined based on the time and
distance to your destination. Pre-booking is not required for passengers leaving the Pearson
airport, but it’s always an option. Taxis are available at the Arrivals Level of each terminal at
Lester B. Pearson and at the Ferry Terminal on the mainland at Billy Bishop.

You can purchase single fare tickets at Toronto
Pearson International Airport. There
are two TTC ticket vending machines in Terminal
1, located at the Public Transit area of
the Ground Transportation Level, just inside
from where the TTC buses stop.
Use cash or major credit cards anytime of the day
or night to purchase Adult, Senior/Student and
Child tickets. Detach and deposit the ticket
portion into the farebox on the bus - retain your
receipt portion. Ask the Driver for a transfer if
you are planning to continue your trip on another
connecting TTC route.
