Welcome Letter
Welcome to Orlando! We look forward to bringing you the 2013 ECEDHA
Annual Conference and ECExpo, surely one of our strongest programs to date.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Zhihua Qu and the University of Central Florida
for hosting the 2013 Annual Conference.
We would also like to thank the 2013 ECEDHA Program Committee for their hard work in designing
this year’s program and assembling a fantastic lineup of industry and university leaders.
Friday’s programming will feature a special Online Education Workshop, the New Chairs Workshop,
and the ABET Workshop for those preparing for the ABET review process.
Saturday will serve as the official start of the conference. We are confident you will enjoy our keynotes and panels,
industry roundtable, and special sessions focusing on massive online open courses, export control, large school/small
school interaction, topics for teaching institutions, entrepreneurship, diversity, and energy systems.
We would also like to welcome our Corporate Sponsors and thank them for their support of ECEDHA. We look forward
to a morning of Spotlight Sessions on Sunday, followed by Corporate Focus Groups and the evening ECExpo reception.
The ECExpo will continue into Monday to allow for ample time to visit with these corporations and to enjoy product
demonstrations.
We hope you enjoy the next several days and find the program to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
