HERSEY’S COFFEE HOUSE FUN!<br />
On Tuesday, March 19, <strong>John</strong> <strong>Hersey</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />
celebrated more than a decade of its annual Coffee House, an event rich in artistic<br />
talent from students who participate during lunch hours in the Black Box. In the past,<br />
students have shared with other students a variety of fine and performing art performances<br />
such as singing, poetry recitation, and instrumental playing. Sponsor Lara Becker states,<br />
“The Black Box is turned into a groovy atmosphere and coffee and treats are served.”<br />
The event is made possible in great part by <strong>District</strong> 214 Arts Unlimited funding.<br />
