COMMISSARY

has
been
founded

summer.

with
Ata
Macias
and
Club
Michel
(both
are
a
well
known
club

restaurant
in

a
43.055
square
foot
space
has
been
entertained

and
serviced
with
food
and
drinks
for
96

days
in
a
time
limited
period
within
a
special
exhibition
of
the
Museum
of
Modern
Art
of
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>
<br />

“20
Jahre
Gegenwart”
(20
years
of
the
present).
Due
to
the
overwhelming
success
the
96
<br />

COMMISSARY
has
been
extended
for
several
more
weeks.
<br />

Simon
Horn
has
been
accountable
for
the
restaurant
“Blumen”
in
the
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>er
Nordend
for
more
<br />

than
six
years.
Seating
18
persons
the
most,
the
“Blumen”
is
located
on
historical
ground
and
serves
<br />

top‐notch
menus
and
legendary
bar
evenings.
Simon
Horn
is
well
established
in
the
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>
<br />

gastronomy
scenery.
The
restaurant
has
been
awarded
several
times
for
best
food
and
great
service.
<br />

Additionally
Simon
Horn
and
Raffaela
Schöbel
founded
the
very
successful
catering
service
“Blumen
<br />

unterwegs”
(Blumen
on
the
way).
A
catering
service
of
its
own
kind,
approaching
the
holistic
<br />

oriented
basis
of
the
food.
In
the
past
the
team
around
Simon
Horn
and
Raffaela
Schöbel
have
<br />

managed
several
major
projects
like
creating
from
scratch
a
restaurant
for
six
weeks
in
the
Historic
<br />

Villa
Metzler,
the
entertainment
of
thousands
of
fair
visitors
for
a
trade
show
as
well
as
numerous
<br />

activities
and
performances
of
high
class
gastronomy
for
business
meetings
and
private
events.

Simon
Horn,
born
1983
in
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>
am
Main.
After
his
vocational
training
to
a
chef,
he
opened
his
<br />

first
restaurant
the
“Nordbar”
in
the
year
2002
for
a
fixed
term
period
of
three
years.
In
2005
he
<br />

opened
the
restaurant
Blumen
as
well
as
the
catering
service
and
event
agency
Blumen
unterwegs.
<br />

2008
his
first
cook‐
and
reading
book
Kochen
mit
Alkohol
(Cooking
with
alcohol)

has
been
published
<br />

which
was
awarded
with
the
Gourmand
Award.
In
2009
Simon
Horn
develops,
designs
and
creates
<br />

the
multi‐format
concept
SEVEN
SWANS.

Another
enterprise
of
Simon
Horn
is
“Silberling
Rohpressung”
where
he
consults
and
supports
<br />

gastronomy
establishments
with
his
innovative
ideas
and
concepts.

Schöbel
<br />

Raffaela
Schöbel
is
born
in
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>
am
Main.
Already
during
her
academic
studies
at
the
university
<br />

of
<strong>Frankfurt</strong>
where
she
studied
sociology,
cultural
anthropology
and
European
ethnology,
she
<br />

discovers
her
love
for
the
restaurant
business.
<br />

Since
2009
she
is
responsible
for
the
operational
business
of
the
catering
“Blumen
unterwegs”.
<br />

Her
main
goal
is
to
create
a
warm
atmosphere
for
all
guests,
combined
with
great
food,
in
which
a
<br />

getting
together
with
a
great
communication
is
developed.
