1 PREPARATION<br />
SUSPENSION POINTS<br />
• Suspension points should be determined<br />
before installing the <strong>Axiom</strong> KE <strong>Canopy</strong>.<br />
• A suspension point matrix for the different<br />
<strong>Axiom</strong> KE modules is included in the cartons.<br />
• The suspension points matrix is also available<br />
on request.<br />

Recommendations<br />
<strong>Axiom</strong> KE Canopies should always be installed in<br />
accordance with all applicable building codes and<br />
regulations.<br />
• <strong>Axiom</strong> KE <strong>Canopy</strong> should only be installed on a<br />
horizontal plane. They are not approved for exterior<br />
installations.<br />
• <strong>Axiom</strong> KE <strong>Canopy</strong> should always be installed by<br />
a minimum of 2 people.<br />
• Read the installation instructions included in the<br />
carton carefully before starting the installation.<br />
• Make sure the installation is clean and safe.<br />
• Any additional weights (such as luminaires...)<br />
must be independently suspended from the soffit.<br />
• In order to avoid scratches or any other damage to the<br />
frame DO NOT remove its protective foam until the<br />
canopy is in the air.<br />

registration, handling capability and finished appearance<br />
compared with standard cold-rolled steel.<br />

Fire performance<br />
<strong>Axiom</strong> KE Canopies, as with other architectural features<br />
located in the ceiling plane, may obstruct or skew the<br />
existing or planned fire sprinkler water distribution pattern,<br />
or possibly delay the activation of the fire sprinkler or fire<br />
detection system. Designers and installers are advised to<br />
consult a fire protection engineer for guidance on the<br />
proper installation techniques where fire detection or<br />
suppression systems are present.<br />
