The patient compartment combination heater/air conditioner unit shall be positioned over the ALS cabinet in<br />
the right front of the patient compartment with controls accessible to the ambulance technician. The air<br />
conditioner shall be capable of lowering the patient compartment ambient temperature from 35° C (95° F) to<br />
26° C (78° F) within 30 minutes per KKK-A-1822. The heater shall be capable of raising the patient<br />
compartment ambient temperature from 0° C (32° F) to 20° C (68° F) within 30 minutes per KKK-A-1822.<br />

Antennas and Radio Provisions<br />
There shall be one (2) RG58A-U antenna coax leads extending from the ceiling of the module and terminating<br />
location behind the driver’s seat. Two (2) antenna roof mounts with weatherproof caps shall be installed.<br />
Two (2) 20 amp 8 ga. positive and ground wires shall be provided location TBD.<br />
There shall be a conduit with pull wire installed from behind the driver’s seat to the rear action area wall.<br />

Siren - Public Address System<br />
The ambulance shall be equipped with a Whelen 295HFSA7 dual tone remote amplifier electronic siren.<br />
Functions of the siren shall include radio rebroadcast, PA, horn/siren operation, manual operation with pushbutton<br />
control, wail and yelp tones. The siren control head shall provide for manual adjustment of the<br />
microphone volume.<br />
