Dimensions given here are applicable to the Type III ambulance. For the Type I, the dimensions may be altered<br />

as required to accommodate the chassis differences, but must be as near as possible to the requested<br />

dimensions.<br />

Street side Compartments (three (3) total):<br />

1 - O2 compartment location front 20 ½”W x 80 ”H x 18 ¾”D. There shall be a vent with a cast cover located on<br />

the door. There shall be a Zico electric oxygen cylinder lift installed inside.<br />

2 – In front of rear wheel well 38” W x 36 ¼” H x 18 ¾” D; one (1) adjustable shelf shall be installed.<br />

4 – Rear compartment 28” W x 36 ”H x 18 ¾”D. There shall be one (1) adjustable shelf installed.<br />

Curb side Compartments (four (4) total):<br />

5 - Back board compartment at the rear, 16”W x 80 ¾”H x 20”D with one (1) fixed vertical divider extending<br />

downward from the ceiling 37”, located 8 ¼” from the front of the compartment. There shall be one (1) fixed<br />

shelf with ½” lip extending from the front of the compartment to the vertical divider.<br />

6 - Next to backboard compartment behind rear wheel 19”W x 24 ¾”H x 18 ¾” D.<br />

8 – ALS compartment outside dimensions 22 ½”W x 57 ½”H x 32 ½”D. This will have inside/outside access. In<br />

the center there shall be a drawer the full width of the cabinet and approximately 9” deep, accessible only<br />

from the inside of the module, with a locking latch. Above and below the drawer, with inside/outside access,<br />

shall be 2 cabinets of approximately equal dimensions. Each shall have one (1) adjustable shelf. The openings<br />

on the inside shall be covered with split hinged Plexiglas doors.<br />

9 - Front below ALS compartment, 22”W x 12H x 20 ¾”. This compartment is to house the vehicle’s batteries<br />

securely mounted in a roll out tray. This compartment shall be appropriately vented to the exterior<br />

underneath the truck.<br />
