Warning Lights The warning light system shall consist of the following: Starting at the front of the ambulance there shall be two (2) Federal Signal QL73SFC-RR Red LED, internal flashers, with clear lenses and chrome flanges located in the grille. There shall be two (2) Federal Signal QL73SFC-RR Red LED, internal flashers, with clear lenses and chrome flanges, located on the front fenders (intersection lights). Across the front of the module there shall be six (6) Federal Signal QuadraFlare QL64SFC-RR split red LED with internal flashers, with clear lenses and chrome flanges, three (3) Federal Signal QuadraFlare QL64SFC-CC clear split LED with internal flashers, clear lens and chrome flanges. They shall be installed in two rows; the top row from left to right shall be Red, Red, Clear, Red, Red. Centered below the top row shall be the second row, from left to right Clear, Red, Red, Clear. On each side of the module there shall be two (2) Federal Signal QuadraFlare QL97SFC-RR Red split LED with internal flashers, clear lenses and chrome flanges mounted one in the front and one in the rear. On the rear there shall be three (3) Federal Signal QuadraFlare QL97SFC-AA split amber LED with internal flasher, clear lens and chrome flanges; one centered above the rear doors and one on each side mid height. There shall also be two (2) Federal Signal QuadraFlare QL97 split red LED with internal flasher, clear lens and chrome flanges; one in each upper outboard corner. All warning lights furnished shall be mounted to project their highest effective intensity beams on the horizontal axis. Flash patterns will be determined at time of order. Each compartment and module entry door shall have a Whelen OS Series amber flashing light located on the outer edge of the door approximately half way from the top and bottom. Each light shall flash whenever that door is opened. Does your bid comply? Yes __X__ No_____ Tail Lights The taillights on this unit will be Federal Signal QL64Z-BTT LED brake/tail, Federal Signal QL64Z-BACKUP LED, and Federal Signal QL64Z-ARROW amber arrow LED lights. The brake/trail and reverse lights shall be in the rear kick plate and the turn arrow shall be up on the rear of the box above the kick plate approximately 6 to 8 inches. Does your bid comply? Yes __X__ No_____ Hardware, Construction, Switching Arrangements The emergency lighting system shall be comprised of components and devices that comply with the general requirements and tests of SAE J575g, J576d and J551. Warning lights shall be firmly fastened to reinforced body surfaces and all mounting holes into aluminum shall have nylon inserts to prevent screws from contacting the aluminum skin in order to eliminate potential corrosion. All connectors and wiring shall be rated to carry a minimum of 125% of their maximum ampere load. All emergency light switches shall be labeled as specified in KKK-A-1822, and the PRIMARY/SECONDARY mode switch shall have an indicator light to show the driver when primary mode is activated. All warning light control switches shall be located in the driver's control console. The emergency light switches shall be wired and arranged to provide the warning light signal modes and combinations as specified in KKK-A-1822F. Does your bid comply?
