at APPENDIX-8 has been provided for the foreign tenderers to understand content of the letter.
Letter of Guarantee prepared in foreign language shall not be accepted.
26.7. Geçici Teminat Mektubunun düzenlenmesinde dikkat edilecek hususlar;
Principles to be taken into consideration in preparing bid bond;
26.7.1. Verildiği bankanın (mevduat Bankaları ve Katılım Bankaları ile Kalkınma ve Yatırım
Bankaları), Bankacılık Düzenleme ve Denetleme Kurumu (BDDK)’nca tespit edilen merkez veya
şubesine ait limiti içinde olacaktır. (Teminat Mektubunda Şube Limitine Yer Verilmişse)
It shall be within the limits of the central office or branch of the issuing bank (Deposit banks and
participation banks and Development and Investment Banks) which is determined by Banking
Organizing and Inspection Institution (BDDK). (In case the branch limit has been stated in Letter of
Guarantee)
26.7.2. Daha önce verilmiş olan teminatlar toplamı ile şube limiti gösterilecektir. (Teminat
Mektubunda Şube Limitine Yer Verilmişse)
The total of guarantees submitted previously and the branch limit shall be shown. (In case branch
limit has been stated on Letter of Guarantee)
26.7.3. Kanun, kararname, tüzük ve yönetmeliklere aykırı düzenlenmeyecektir.
It shall not be prepared contrary to laws, decrees, rules and regulations.
26.7.4. İhaleyi yapan idareye hitaben düzenlenecektir.
It shall address to the Contracting Entity.
26.7.5. Verilecek Teminat mektupları İstekli adına düzenlenecektir.
The letters of guarantee shall be prepared on behalf of the Tenderer.
26.7.6. Teklif bedeli hangi para cinsinden verilmişse teminat mektupları da aynı para cinsi ile
verilecektir. Yabancı para cinsinden teklif verilmesi halinde istekliler geçici teminat olarak
idari şartnamenin 27.1.2. maddesinde belirtilen değerden teminat verecektir. Bu durumda
bankalardan alınan Türkçe teminat mektubu dışında verilen teminat mektupları kabul
edilmeyecektir.
The letters of guarantee shall be submitted in the currency same with the currency in which the bid
value is offered. In case bids are submitted in foreign curreny, tenderers shall submit their
temporary guarantee according to the article 27.1.2. of administrative specification. In this
case temporary guarantees except letter of guarantee in Turkish taken from banks will not be
accepted.
26.7.7. Örnek Geçici Teminat Mektubunda boş bırakılan işin adı, isteklinin adı, geçici teminatın
tutarı, Bankanın (Mevduat Bankaları ve Katılım Bankaları ile Kalkınma ve Yatırım Bankaları) adı,
geçerlilik süresi, mektup tutarı, banka şubesinin adı bölümleri ile örneğinin alt kısmında yer alan
not ve alt detaylarında yer alan bilgilere uygun olarak düzenlenecektir.
Blank Parts on Sample Bid Bond, which are the name of the work and the Tenderer, bid bond
value, name of the bank (Deposit Banks and Participation Banks and Development and Investment
Banks), validity period, letter value, branch name of the bank and its departments, shall be
arranged based on the information provided at notes and foot-notes which are at the bottom part of
the sample.
27. TEMİNAT OLARAK KABUL EDİLECEK DEĞERLER
VALUES TO BE ACCEPTED AS GUARANTEE
27.1. Teminat olarak kabul edilecek değerler aşağıda gösterilmiştir:

27.1.1. Tedavüldeki Türk Parası. / Turkish currency currently in circulation,
27.1.2. Bankalarca (Mevduat Bankaları ve Katılım Bankaları ile Kalkınma ve Yatırım Bankaları)
verilen Türkçe teminat mektupları.(Yabancı para birimi cinsinden verilecek tekliflere ait
teminatlar bu maddeye uygun verilecektir.)
The letters of guarantee in Turkish provided by the banks (Deposit Banks and Participation Banks
and Development and Investment Banks) (Guarantee of bids submitted in foreign curreny will
be submitted according to this article.)
