ISS Institute ong>ofong>fers a broad array ong>ofong> services to upgrade Australia’s capabilities in areas that lead to commercial ong>andong> industrial capacity ong>andong>, in turn, return direct benefits to Australia’s metropolitan, rural ong>andong> regional businesses ong>andong> communities. Our core service lines are identifying capabilities (knowledge, skills ong>andong> insights) to fill skill gaps (skill deficiencies), which are not available in accredited university or TAFE courses; acquiring those capabilities from overseas (Overseas Skills Acquisition Plan - Fellowship Program); then placing those capabilities into firms, industry ong>andong> commerce, learning institutions ong>andong> public authorities through the ISS Research Institute. Overseas Skills Acquisition Plan - Fellowship Program Importantly, fellows must pass on what they have learnt through a report ong>andong> ISS Institute education ong>andong> training activities ong>andong> events such as workshops, lectures, seminars, forums, demonstrations, showcases ong>andong> conferences. The activities place these capabilities, plus insights (attitudinal change), into the minds ong>andong> hong>andong>s ong>ofong> those that use them - trades ong>andong> prong>ofong>essional people alike - the multiplier effect.
