Dear FOX customer, Thank you for your business and support in the 2009 model year. We understand that you have many choices for suspension and we appreciate the continued trust you have in our team and our products. The 2008 Race Season was the best in FOX history. FOX Racing Shox sponsored athletes won 43 championships in our Mountain Bike Division, 2 Snowmobile Gold medals in the Winter X Games, both the WORCS and ATVA overall championships on FOX equipped ATVs, the 85cc class at the US Open in Las Vegas, the Trans Orientale Rallye, and multiple CORR Off-Road races. There is no suspension company in the world supporting racing across as many markets, in as many countries, as FOX Racing Shox. The cross fertilization between the disciplines listed above gives us an unparalleled knowledge base and understanding of vehicle dynamics, versus our bicycle suspension supplier competition. That knowledge is one of the reasons we go racing. The other is simple: our mutual customers. Both address the enthusiast segment of mountain biking with our products, and what better way to say we care about our customers than to be there hanging out with them and helping them on race day. We always try to be our own toughest critics. So, for 2010 we’ve brought out more new products and product improvements since the original introduction of FOX forks. 1440g cross country forks. 1470g trail forks. 150mm travel 32s. We have the all-new FIT RLC 32 fork dampers across the line. Boost Valve technology brought into the FLOAT line up of rear shocks. The all new RC4 shocks will be brought into our coil shock line up after over one year of testing on the World Cup circuit, and so on. We’re hopeful the product line we’re going to show you for 2010 proves that the intellectual property and financial partnerships we’ve forged this past year demonstrate a stronger and hungrier FOX going forward. Our sprinter van is on the road year round visiting retailers to educate them on the ease of servicing FOX products and providing set-up and feature/benefit instruction for FOX products. For 2009 we’ve added a second sprinter van to the FOX fleet to cover even more retailers and grassroots events. Say hi to Scott, the driver of the second van when he comes by your area in the upcoming season. Please call us and set up your free clinic if you want to be the best-trained FOX dealer possible. Thank you for taking the time to review the 2010 FOX Racing Shox collection of forks and shocks. We look forward to working with you in the coming year. fox philosophy At FOX Racing Shox we race what we sell and race what we manufacture on our production line. We take product off the assembly line and send it to our world class sponsored athletes, confident it will perform flawlessly. We utilize the world’s best testers — our sponsored athletes — as an integral part of our product development process, knowing there is no harsher test of a product’s worthiness than to mount it onto a professional athlete’s race machine. The new FIT dampers in our 32mm RLC models and the new from the ground up shocks like our DHX RC4 and RC2, are examples of the products that can come from this kind of process. In 2009 we made incredible strides in stiffness and improved damping performance throughout our fork line, to the point that our athletes asked us to develop rear shocks giving them the same Velcro traction and ride control. Our Engineering Team took this advice and started development of the new DHX line as well as working on adding our patented Boost Valve technology to our RP23 and RP2 shocks. At FOX Racing Shox, we are a racing based, product driven company and we don’t limit that winning, performance driven attitude to just the race course. It happens everyday within FOX. And really, that’s the reason the products come out the way that they do. Our founder Bob Fox said, “It’s a competitive world out there. It’s a Darwinian world. Our goal is to make the best product a customer can buy. That’s where we started, that’s where we are today and we’re not going to sit back and say we’re done. We’re never done.” 5
