The Society at work in Brazil
To promote trenchless techniques to key personnel, the Society
works alongside universities, the Engineers Council, consulting and
design associations, water and sanitation engineers associations,
and contractors associations.
It is also important to the Society to promote trenchless training.
The Society has co-ordinated a two-day horizontal directional
drilling course that will be developed and presented by technicians
from Petrobras, National Oil and Gas Company, proceeding the
ISTT No-Dig 2012. The course is targeted technicians, engineers
and other professionals involved with directional drilling technology.
The course will run 10–11 November 2012. Interested parties can
