40. Cement: Cement supplied by <strong>the</strong> contractor will be procured directly from ACC, L&T, Gujrat Ambuja<br />
Cement, Rajashree Cement, Birla Corpn Ltd (Cement Division), Orient Cement, JK Cements, Madras Cement Ltd,<br />
Raasi Cements Ltd, Vikram Cement, Andhra Cement Ltd, Century Cement, Dalmiai Cement (Bharat) Ltd. The India<br />
Cements Ltd Mysore Cement Ltd, Raymond Ltd, Cement Division Aditya Cement, Grasim Cement. The particulars <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> manufacturer/supplier <strong>of</strong> cement along with <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> manufacture shall be obta<strong>in</strong>ed from <strong>the</strong> contractor for<br />
every lot <strong>of</strong> cement separately. The documents <strong>in</strong> support <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> purchases <strong>of</strong> cement shall be verified by <strong>the</strong> <strong>eng<strong>in</strong>eer</strong><br />
<strong>in</strong> charge and OC Contract.<br />
41 Steel: All structural steel shall be procured by <strong>the</strong> contractor directly from SAIL, TISCO, RINL(Vizag Steel),<br />
Esar Steel Ltd, Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd, J<strong>in</strong>dal Iron and Steel Co Ltd, J<strong>in</strong>dal Vijay Nagar Steel Ltd, IISCO, J<strong>in</strong>dal<br />
Strips Ltd and Trade Arbed. The contractor shall also submit <strong>the</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>al copy <strong>of</strong> Invoice along with <strong>the</strong><br />
manufacturer’s test certificate to <strong>the</strong> Eng<strong>in</strong>eer-<strong>in</strong>-Charge dur<strong>in</strong>g his <strong>in</strong>spection and approved for <strong>in</strong>corporation <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
structure.<br />
42. INSPECTION AND PLANTS AND ALLIED MACHINERY:<br />
The plant and allied mach<strong>in</strong>ery required for execution work <strong>of</strong> ma<strong>in</strong>ly DBM, BC, WMM etc. shall be<br />
<strong>in</strong>spected/exam<strong>in</strong>ed by <strong>the</strong> OC Contract before commencement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> work. This clause will supersede special<br />
condition clause 4 at Serial Page No 54<strong>of</strong> this bid documents<br />
43 LIST OF KEY PLANT & EQUIPMENT TO BE DEPLOYED ON CONTRACT WORK<br />
If deployment <strong>of</strong> key personnel is not done as per Annexure-I <strong>of</strong> APPENDIX to ITB Clause<br />
Reference With Respect to Section-I. at serial Page No. 22 by <strong>the</strong> contractor dur<strong>in</strong>g execution <strong>of</strong> work, <strong>the</strong>n<br />
deduction to be done @ Rs. 25000/- per month or on pro-rata basis aga<strong>in</strong>st Project Manager and @ Rs<br />
20000/ per month or on pro-rata basis aga<strong>in</strong>st Site Eng<strong>in</strong>eer, Plant Eng<strong>in</strong>eer, Quantity Surveyor, Soil &<br />
Material Eng<strong>in</strong>eer and Survey Eng<strong>in</strong>eer from <strong>the</strong> contractor’s bill.
