The <strong>IMPI</strong>-<strong>34</strong> is a fully automatic machine for ink filling<br />
and assembly of ball pen refills. It is designed expressly<br />
for the production of cartridges of the capillary type,<br />
where high output and simplicity are of prime importance.<br />
The machines durability and ease of operation have<br />
made it a favourite of ball pen manufacturers throughout<br />
the world. It is equally efficient with either brass<br />
or plastic tubes.<br />
The machine operates with cartridge in a horizontal<br />
position, being advanced by a drum type feed. With<br />
the <strong>Mikron</strong> <strong>IMPI</strong>-<strong>34</strong> the crimping of the cartridge is<br />
done on the machine and is readily adjustable. The<br />
machine features the usual <strong>Mikron</strong> detection devices<br />
to assure safe, clean, operation. All motions and devices<br />
are achieved mechanically with cams mounted on<br />
the camshaft, which assures precise and exact operation.<br />
On special request, the machine can be supplied with<br />
a hot stamping device which allows the client to blind<br />
stamp his name on the plastic cartridge at the time it<br />
is being assembled.<br />
