Lüttje-Lage: a very special local drink involving a glass of beer

Tour
The Steinhuder Meer lake is a popular destination for
outings from Hannover. Traditional “Auswanderer” boats
ferry passengers from Steinhude to the fortified island of
Wilhelmstein in the middle of the lake. On returning to
shore and enjoying a leisurely lunch, take time out to stroll
through the picturesque fishing village and visit an eel
smoke house. Continue the tour through the hilly countryside
of the Deister and beyond to Hameln, the town of the

around 80 theatre companies and ensembles from around
the world putting on around 200 performances each season.

The world famous Pied Piper and the little furry creatures he
drove out of the town are on display everywhere in Hameln.
