SUPER HOMEWORK SPELLING CHOICES<br />
Write each word and<br />
then write your own<br />
meaning of the word<br />
beside of it.<br />
Write a story using<br />
most of your spelling<br />
words. Be sure to<br />
underline the words<br />
you use.<br />
Select 3 of your favorite<br />
spelling words, and write a<br />
paragraph about each word<br />
describing why you chose it.<br />
The paragraph should<br />
explain why this word is<br />
special or meaningful to<br />
you. Each paragraph<br />
should have 4 sentences.<br />
Create your own<br />
activity and show it to<br />
your teacher.<br />
Create a venn<br />
diagram for your<br />
spelling words. Label<br />
your categories.<br />
Categorize/classify your<br />
words according to<br />
meaning in 3 categories.<br />
Name the categories so<br />
that one word can fit into<br />
one category at a time.<br />
Write a cheer using<br />

Write each spelling<br />
word. Draw a slash<br />
through any silent<br />
letters.<br />

forward. Then write it<br />
backwards.<br />
Spell each word while<br />
clapping or tapping<br />
each letter. Have a<br />
parent to initial this<br />
box when you are<br />
finished.<br />

scissors, magazines, newspapers, etc., please see me before you go home so I can give you the supplies you need.Have fun practicing your<br />

vowel sounds. Make a<br />
web to show your<br />
groupings.<br />
Use the “valuable<br />
words” chart to find the<br />
total value for a word.<br />
(Get a chart from me.)<br />
Choose 10 words. Write<br />
the word and its value.<br />
Write each spelling<br />
word. Then write a<br />
word that rhymes<br />
with each word.<br />
Choose 10 spelling<br />
words. Write a<br />
meaningful sentence<br />
with each chosen word.<br />
Circle each spelling<br />
word in the sentence.<br />
Write your spelling<br />
words from most<br />
difficult to remember<br />
how to spell to easiest<br />
to remember how to<br />
spell.<br />
Look through<br />
newspapers,<br />
magazines, junk mail,<br />
etc. Cut out letters to<br />
spell each word. Glue<br />
each word onto paper.<br />

word. Circle all of the<br />
