Located at N. Frontage Rd & Harvester Drive

Bird Trail Kit
McCullough Park
Located at Plainfield and County Line Road
Walking pathway loop is .46 miles
Birds are the most observed species of animals here at
Harvester Park. This trail kit will allow you to have more
fun learning about the birds of Harvester Park. In addition
to utilizing the contents of this kit, be sure to stop at the
trailhead and fishing dock to view permanent displays
about birds. Trail kits are available for checkout at BRCC.
“This Wetland Is Polluted?” Trail Kit
In this trail kit, you will learn about
– the value and purpose of
this wetland
– which neighboring
properties contribute
what types of pollutants
– the amazing pollution
benefits of wetland plants
– actually test the pond for
dissolved oxygen levels,
and the saturation levels of
phosphates and nitrates.
Follow the lesson plan and develop a better understanding
of the fragile nature of the ecosystem while having fun performing
some investigative work.

To make a longer walk, all three parks are connected
by the Village pathway system.
