All Dance Programs are held at the
Community Center and are under the
direction of Miss Barbara Klein. Miss
Barbara has taught in the
Chicagoland area for over twenty
years.
Ballet Ages 3-10

The hip hop/jazz class teaches fundamental jazz steps
and combines the elements of hip hop moves and contemporary
music. Through dancing, kids will gain confidence,
social skills, teamwork, coordination, flexibility, rhythm,
and will have a lot of fun while getting a great form of exercise.
Dancers need to wear form fitting dance apparel
and hip hop sneakers. BR (No Class Nov 22)
Ballet helps children develop
strength, flexibility, grace, poise,
and self-esteem. New and returning
students are welcome.
Dancers should wear a leotard
(preferably pink), tights, and
dance shoes. BR

through structured progression stressing creativity.

of ballet technique.

An emphasis on building proper ballet technique,
strength and flexibility.

Your child will love exploring the elements of dance, rhythm, tempo, space, and direction
in one of the most popular programs at the Park District. Black tap shoes and dance attire
