<strong>Burr</strong> <strong>Ridge</strong> Park District preschool age classes follow <strong>the</strong> standards and recommendations set forth by <strong>the</strong><br />
Illinois Early Childhood Standards and Benchmarks to prepare children for kindergarten. BR WB<br />
Beginning Preschool<br />
1-2 Days Ages 2-3<br />
Two Teachers Max Class Size: 12<br />
Beginning Preschool establishes <strong>the</strong> framework for introducing<br />
your child to a preschool setting. One of <strong>the</strong> most<br />
important aspects of early development is becoming comfortable<br />
<strong>with</strong> separation, encouraging independence and<br />
fostering communication skills. Classes will include circle<br />
time <strong>with</strong> songs, a story, snacktime, socialization and playtime.<br />
Fine and gross motor skills will be enhanced through<br />
games and crafts.v<br />

10:45am – 12:15pm<br />
Friday 9:00am – 10:30am $60/$65 mo<br />

Child must be age appropriate by September 1, 2012. Child<br />
does not have to be potty trained but parent must be available<br />
by phone to change diapers/pull ups if necessary.<br />
