<strong>1996</strong>-<strong>97</strong><br />

and distributed during the Science Congress Session.<br />

A week long activity was organised for the National Science Day celebrations.<br />

A debate competition in Hindi and English on the topic "India <strong>of</strong> my Dreams" was<br />

organised in which school children participated. The prizes were also distributed.<br />

Screening <strong>of</strong> educational video films and slide shows were also held for benefit <strong>of</strong> the<br />

visitors. Doordarshan Kendra, Lucknow and the local press also gave a wide coverage<br />

to our activities.<br />

Plant fossils were sent to Nature Museum, Augusburg, Germany on exchange.<br />

Under educational programme "<strong>Palaeobotany</strong> for Education", fossil specimens were<br />

gifted to II educational Institutions. Trans-slides <strong>of</strong> fossil specimens were sent to<br />

Evangelisehe Hoge School Amersfoort, Netherland. Scientists from U.S.A., Belgium<br />

and Australia visited the Museum besides citizens <strong>of</strong> our own country.<br />
