Museum<br />
The <strong>Institute</strong>'s Golden Jubilee year concluding ceremony was held in a befitting<br />
manner. A gallery <strong>of</strong> "Plant Fossi Is" was erected at Regional Science Centre, Lucknow<br />
and was formally opened on September 10, <strong>1996</strong>. Concluding function <strong>of</strong> the Golden<br />
Jubilee coincided with the Conference held at the <strong>Institute</strong>. Poster Session organised<br />
during the Conference evoked keen interest among the participants.<br />
The <strong>Institute</strong> participated in Science and Technology exhibition organised by<br />
DST during the 84th Session <strong>of</strong> the Indian Science Congress at Delhi. Main theme <strong>of</strong><br />
the exhibition was "Computer Network in National Development". About 3,000 persons<br />
visited and took keen interest in our exhibits. A bilingual Brochure was also prepared<br />
