Blaze, Sam Noto, Bill Perkins, Bob Fitzpatrick, Kent Larsen, Lennie Niehaus, Carl Fontana, Don Rendell, Mel
Lewis, Lee Katzman, Harry Klein, Vinnie Tanno, Curtis Counce) [1956] Unlike in Britain, where the stillstuffy
BBC saw no importance in Kenton’s visit, radio stations throughout Europe were quick to take advantage
of the band’s availability, and recorded concerts for broadcasting, bequeathing us a bountiful legacy of
beautiful music. Too long to fit onto a single disc, and not wanting to omit even a single title. This previously
unreleased concert from Mannheim’s Rosengarten as a double CD set. [Item Code: 66380 CD: $16.00]
