Back by popular demand, we reprise last spring’s walnut limiteds, but with a few<br />
twists. This year we’ve opted for cedar tops over spruce for a splash of extra warmth;<br />
a mahogany neck in place of maple; and the “Pipeline” inlay that debuted with the<br />
2010 Fall LTDs. Like last year, these LTDs are sharply appointed with figured maple<br />
binding and a matching back mini wedge.<br />

fretboard inlays<br />
Tonally, an all-mahogany acoustic will respond with an earthy sound that has long<br />
been associated with blues and other roots music. Players can expect a dark, throaty<br />
midrange punch when digging in, yet there’s also an underlying sweetness in that<br />
same register that can complement a single-note line. Visually, we’ve created a look<br />
that evokes a throwback Americana style, starting with a traditional mahogany stain,<br />
which gives the guitar a luminous deep-red tint. Tortoise shell binding adds the<br />
perfect touch of color harmony, while white purfling and an abalone rosette supply<br />
crisp counterpoints.
