The Gigabit Ethernet Switch Module has two SFP slots, which can be operated
with Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet SFP’s. Additionally the switch module
offers seven 10/100Base-TX connections for linking such as Ethernet terminals,
machine controls, network uplinks, consoles and other network users. Also one
10/100/1000Base-T port for a central uplink connection is available.
The switches can be configured and monitored either by SNMP or a PC-based
management tool (NMP-Platform). In addition to the NMP-platform the status is
displayed web based by using an integrated HTTP server. This switch module
for the MICROSENS 19“ Access Platform allows the central concentration of the
industrial fiber optic ring switches.
