Lesson Assessment Plan:
1. How will you assess knowledge prior to delivering this lesson?
By having the students come up with at least 10 ways to practice physical and mental health will
allow me to see what they learned from the previous lesson plans. They will come up with a few
ideas as a class and then have time to come up with a plan that might work best for them
individually.
2. How will you assess student learning after teaching this lesson?
After presenting my lesson the students will have time to write a daily blog at the end of each class
to demonstrate what they learned in the past lesson plans and how they are applying what they
learned to their everyday life. Reading about how they have incorporated these healthy habits into
their life will show me that they have learned how to live a healthier lifestyle.
3. If reteaching is needed, what exactly will you do to make sure that each of your students
succeed to the best of their abilities on the content covered in this lesson?
I will evaluate what went well in the lesson and what went wrong. If the problem is evident with
actually writing a blog I will demonstrate again how to use the blog site. If students are writing about
topics that do no relate to health or physical education I will go over what a healthy habits are again.
I might pair students up to help each other according to their understanding of the assignment.
Time Required to Present Lesson: 30 minutes of presenting the lesson, 20 minutes of blog time (per class.)
Intended Content Outcomes: By the end of this lesson students will be able to identify what makes up a
