Living at <strong>UC</strong>SC<br />
Residence Hall Living<br />
Merrill College has four residential buildings set amidst<br />
redwood trees and a central lawn. Most students live in<br />
coed halls or floors, in which members of all genders<br />
live in the same hall or floor, while bedrooms are singlegender<br />
spaces. Single-gender female floors are also<br />
available.<br />
Renovations will be taking place at Merrill College<br />
during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 academic years.<br />
Students living at Merrill in fall 2013 will be the<br />
first to enjoy the renovated rooms with new carpet,<br />
paint, windows and lighting. Renovation work will be<br />
structured so that residences will remain open and in use<br />
during the academic year.<br />
