CEQA compliance is required before a<br />

permit will be issued. A biological<br />

review, including estimates of impacts<br />

to CDFG waters of the state, may be<br />

required, along with completion of the<br />

CDFG application forms and<br />

supporting documentation. SAAs<br />

typically take 3 to 4 months to process<br />

if CEQA compliance is complete. Upon<br />

receipt of your draft SAA, you have 30<br />

days to review it and notify CDFG if<br />

you disagree with any measures. An<br />

application fee is typically required.<br />
