Enriching Experiences<br />
Pre-Show Presentations<br />
Before student and senior matinées (look for the symbol on<br />
the calendar), members of the cast lead your students through<br />
games and activities to prepare them for the show. Appropriate<br />
for all grade levels and fun for newcomers to the play as well<br />
as for classes that have studied it, sessions begin at 11 a.m. and<br />
take place on stage. Book your tickets through the Groups and<br />
<strong>Schools</strong> Department. Cost: $3.33 per student. General admission.<br />
Post-Show Chats<br />
Meet members of the company after the show! Informal<br />
question-and-answer sessions with actors and other artists<br />
last half an hour following the performance. Please note that<br />
at least two weeks’ advance booking is required and that<br />
availability is limited. To book or for more information,<br />
contact the Education Department (see page 2). Cost: $52.<br />
Workshops<br />
Choose from song and dance, stage combat or a workshop<br />
exploring the play your students are attending. Led by <strong>Festival</strong><br />
teaching artists, workshops are available as of June 7, <strong>2011</strong>.<br />
Sessions begin at 10 or 11 a.m. and last one hour. Please note<br />
that at least two weeks’ advance booking is required and<br />

Scavenger Hunts<br />
Send your students out to enjoy the town and learn some<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> Shakespeare <strong>Festival</strong> history. Download scavenger<br />

<strong>Festival</strong> Theatre Tours<br />
Most Wednesdays through Sundays, June 15 to October 30<br />
Departing from the west lobby at 9 and 9:15 a.m., these one-hour<br />
tours will provide insight into the magic of theatre.<br />
Costume and Props Warehouse Tours<br />
350 Douro Street, most Wednesdays through Saturdays, May 11<br />
to October 29. These one-hour tours of our Costume and Props<br />
Warehouse begin at 9:30, 10, 10:30, and 11 a.m. Cameras welcome.<br />
Archives Tours<br />
350 Douro Street, Wednesdays only. June 1 to September 28<br />
Discover nearly 60 years of <strong>Festival</strong> history at the world’s largest<br />
performing arts archives devoted to a single theatre. Tours start<br />
at 10 and 10:30 a.m. Maximum 15 people per tour.<br />
Garden Tours<br />
<strong>Festival</strong> Theatre grounds, Wednesdays through Saturdays,<br />
June 8 to September 17. These 45-minute tours depart from the<br />
Shakespeare sculpture outside the south lobby at 11 a.m.<br />
