Axor Citterio M. The style of urban life. Once again, people 

are drawn to the city. Yet, as vibrant and multifaceted as life in 

the metropolis can be, the desire for calm and simplicity is just as 

powerful. For the new Axor Citterio M Collection, Antonio Citterio 

was inspired by modern urban living. 

Antonio Citterio is both a designer and an architect. Which means 

that he always visualises an object in relation to its space. Since 

space itself is an invaluable commodity, it should be filled with a fine 

selection of precious objects. Therefore, an intelligent, carefully 

considered room design is more important than ever. 

Space, outlook, tranquillity: these are the principles that Antonio 

Citterio followed in designing the bathrooms showcased in this 

brochure. Through clever partitioning and optimal positioning of 

individual objects, Citterio’s vision of the bathroom as a living space 

becomes reality.

Materials

Wash table 

Flexform Infinity storage furniture with table top and Vero countertop 

wash basins by Duravit. 

Floor 

Parquet of solid sweet chestnut wood laid seamlessly with waterproof 

sealing. Separated from the shower area by open-topped U-shaped 

aluminium profiles. Shower area features Grigio argento tiles, sandblasted 

surface (by Grassi 1880 s.p.a.) laid in bond pattern on a 

sealed surface, without grouting.

Walls 

Closed walls in broken white plaster finish (NCS S 1002-Y). Toilet/ 

bidet and shower areas: doors and partitions of laminated sheet glass, 

mounted framelessly between floor and suspended ceiling. Glass window 

front. 

Light 

Abundant natural light from a large window front, which can be tempered 

with blinds and curtains. Dimmable, linear recessed lighting 

along the curtain rails enhances this natural atmosphere.

Supporting structure with attached wall panel made of veneered 

plates (Alpi Lignum veneer GRAF TBT 2R 557/00/Y12) with waterresistant 

surface. Emani countertop wash basin by Keramag, drained 

via chrome drain pipe. Odour trap and inlet are integrated into the 

supporting structure. 

Floor 

Veneer-covered floor plate (Alpi Lignum veneer GRAF TBT 2R 

557/00/Y12) grooved for floorboard look, shifting to a grid pattern 

in the shower area where it is mounted on a drain system installed 

flush with the floor (such as Illbruck BF). (Waterproof carrier sheet and 

sealing required). Wash basin area features tiles from the Pietratec 

Silver Gres Lux series by Cotto D‘Este Antica Ceramica d‘Arte S.p.A., 

laid in half-bond pattern without skirting. 

Walls 

Tiles from the Pietratec Silver Gres Lux series by Cotto D‘Este Antica 

Ceramica d‘Arte S.p.A., laid in half-bond pattern. Frameless partitioning 

and doors in laminated sheet glass in the toilet/bidet and shower 

areas, mounted between floor and ceiling. 

Light 

Rich, diffuse light coming from the large window front. Optional artificial 

lighting via indirect light at the wall panel above the wash table. 

Punctuated accents of warm light through recessed spotlights, installed 

flush with the wall.
