B- How to apply: Application form, Instruction(s) for filling the form can be downloaded from the
University website www.rmlau.ac.in. Application form complete in all respect together with
application fees of Rs. 450/- in the form of Demand Draft (With name, course applied for, mailing
address and mobile no. should be written on the reverse of the bank draft) drawn in favour of The
Finance Officer, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad payable at Faizabad should
be sent to The Registrar, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad by
Registered/Speed post only so as to reach The Registrar office on/or before 18 th June, 2011 by 5:00
P.M. The last date for receiving Applications compete in all respect is 18 th June, 2011 by 5:00 P.M.
Applications sent by e-mail shall not be considered and shall be rejected summarily. Applications
received after due date & time and incomplete applications shall not be considered and shall be rejected.
C- The reservation shall be provided as per the U.P. State Government orders prevailing at the time of
counseling. The candidates appearing in qualifying examination(s) shall also be eligible to apply
but on the date of counseling they shall duly possess the qualifying degree/marksheet(s) otherwise
they shall not be considered for admission and their Candidature shall be rejected. The candidates
may note this carefully.
D- The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats mentioned against different
courses given in this advertisement.
E- The University reserves the right to take admissions in any courses given in this advertisement or may
not take admissions at all in any or all the courses given in this advertisement and in such cases
applicants shall have no right/claim against the admission process and University.
F- All the enclosures required to be submitted with application form should be duly self attested alongwith
date. The application should be duly signed by the candidate along with date otherwise the application
shall not be considered.
G- The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay whatsoever.

Eligibility for Admission Test
The eligibility criteria for various Courses
running on Campus are enlisted in Table-I. For
detail explanation, please refer digital brochure
of various courses available on university
website www.rmlau.ac.in
Applying for Admission
Every candidate has to apply for the admission
in Session-2011 in prescribed admission test
form as determined by the university.
Candidates seeking admission in Bio Science
group courses (Biochemistry, Environmental
Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology) have to
submit only one application form. Duly filled
application form addressed to The Registrar, Dr.
Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad-
224001 (U.P.) must reach to the university by
registered/speed post only on/before 18-06-2011
by 5:00 P.M. Application form received then
after will not be accepted under any
circumstances and shall be summarily rejected.
Incomplete Application forms shall not be
considered. Applications Form should be sent
through registered/speed post only. The
University shall not be responsible for any
postal delay, whatsoever.
Filling the Application Form and
Attachment of Enclosures
A. Candidates must fill all the entries of the
application form in their own handwriting. It is
incorrect to leave the space blank designated for
essential information.
B. For claiming vertical/horizontal reservation/
Weightage under Caste/Physically handicapped/
Freedom Fighter/Ex-Soldier/Kargil Shaheed/
Kashmir migrant and the wards/dependents
category candidate must attach certificate issued
by competent authority. Only mentioning these
certificates is not sufficient in the Application
Form.

Dispatching Admit card and Issuance of
Duplicate Admit Card
The admit card of eligible candidates for
appearing in admission test will be sent through
speed post/registered post by the university. If
candidate does not receive the admit card three
days before the test, he/she can obtain the
duplicate copy of admit card by depositing Rs.
30/- only. The photocopy of Bank draft should
be preserved safely by the candidate.

Dispatch of Filled Application Form By The
Candidate
The prescribed application form for admission
test should be dispatched alongwith all
enclosures and demand draft of Rs. 450/- (In
favour of Finance Officer, Dr. R.M.L. Avadh
University, Faizabad). The form must be
completely filled in all respects and be enclosed
inside a large envelope and inscribe admission
Test, 2011 (write clearly name of the course
applied on envelope) and sent by
speed/Registered post to Registrar, Dr. R.M.L.
Avadh University, Faizabad-224001 (U.P.). The
codes must be filled neatly in boxes. The

Planning of Admission Test & Filling the
Answer Sheet
There will be 100 objective questions in the
Residential Courses Admission Test (RCAT).
There will be a combined entrance examination
for Bio-Sciences Courses Biochemistry, Env.
Science, Microbiology & Biotechnology (Sl. No. 1
to 4) of Table-I. The course will be allotted at
the time of counseling on the basis of combined
merit of Entrance Examination.
The candidate should fill the Roll No., Answer
Booklet No. and Answer of the question with
BLACK BALL POINT PEN only. For one question
the correct answer should be filled in one circle
only. The answer shall be treated as incorrect if
more than one circle is darkened. For one
correct answer 3 marks will be given and 1
mark will be deducted for one wrong answer.
Do not make any mark elsewhere in the answer
sheet including barcode.
