Device Information<br />
Information about Cisco device configurations, faults, and performance is stored in<br />
the management information bases (MIBs) or configuration files of networked<br />
devices. This information is retrieved from the managed devices or agents located in<br />
the network by the server using a variety of management protocols such as Simple<br />
Network <strong>Management</strong> Protocol (SNMP), Telnet, Remote Copy Protocol (RCP), or<br />
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP).<br />
