To work a dc dec (dc decrease): yo, insert hook in the<br />

first indicated st and pull up a loop, yo and pull through two<br />

loops on hook, yo, insert hook in next indicated st and pull up<br />

a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook, yo and pull<br />

through all 3 remaining loops on hook.<br />

With orange, leaving a 2" yarn tail, ch 10.<br />

Make 2 of these hearts:

Using the darker color of thread and size crochet hook of your<br />

choice, ch 34; join with a sl st to the first chain (being careful<br />

not to twist the chain.)<br />

Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 2 more dc in the<br />

same ch; dc in each of the next 6 chs, 2 dc in each of the next 8<br />

chs, (yo, insert hook in the next ch and pull up a loop, yo and<br />

pull through 2 loops on the hook) 5 times, yo and pull through<br />

all 6 remaining loops on hook, 2 dc in each of the next 8 ch, dc<br />
