EOI for Empanelment of Consultants for Preparation of State-wise Energy Savings Plan / General Consultancy
and for Preparation of Detail Project Reports on Waste Heat Recovery in some Selected Units of Small &
Medium Enterprises (SME) Clusters along with Demonstration in a few of them
Should have at least 2 financial management expert for preparation of financial modelling in
Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) as on the date of applying. A detail CV of such experts
should be submitted along with the EOI.
Should have experience in preparation of Investment Grade Energy Audit (IGEA) Report,
integrating financial modelling in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and preparation of
bidding document for energy efficiency projects. Proof of preparing at least 3 such energy
efficiency projects having the above features should be submitted along with the EOI.
Should have the work experience of at least 3 years in the field of Energy Efficiency. Proof
of having this experience clearly mentioning the nature of work and the period during which
the work has been undertaken should be submitted along with the EoI. The total months /
years of working in the area of energy efficiency should be clearly stated.
Should have the work experience of assisting the State Governments / Central Government
in preparation of policy intervention plans. Proof of assisting the State Government / Central
Government in preparation of at least 3 such reports should be submitted along with the EoI.
Should have a minimum annual turnover of INR 100 lakhs (INR or its equivalent in foreign
currency) from Consulting Fees in last two of the last three (3) years i.e. FY 2007-08, 2008-
09 and 2009-10.
Should have been profitable for at least two (2) of the last three (3) years i.e. FY 2007-08,
2008-09 and 2009-10.
Consortium of not more than two companies / organizations / firms may also apply and will
have to give a joint letter about the lead partner and MOU.
The Consultant interested in being considered for Task 2 must fulfil the following criteria:
Should be a firm/company registered/incorporated in India.
Should have at least 3 BEE Certified Energy Auditors/Energy Managers as on March 31,
2010. A photocopy of the certificates of BEE Certified Energy Auditors/Energy Managers
should be enclosed as proof.
The Firm should have the work experience of at least 3 years in the field of Energy
Efficiency. Proof of having this experience clearly mentioning the nature of work and the
period during which the work has been undertaken should be submitted along with the EoI.
The total months / years of working in the area of energy efficiency should be clearly stated.
