GAME DAY & TRAINING
U6–U13 training days are based on the coach and team for each individual team. The manager or coach will contact you. ALL games are on Saturdays.
All game or training cancellations and change of venue will be advised by the manager or coach, they will contact you.

PLAYING GEAR
• The Club provides club jersey.
• Club shorts and socks are available for purchase from the club rooms.
• Free pre-loved boots available on a first in first served basis during
Milo weekend registration Saturday 02 & Sunday 03 March.
Situated at Colin Maiden Park, we boast an easily accessible and unique
setting with park like grounds and well maintained grass playing fields.
The fully licensed club rooms overlook the main field and are the center of
our rugby community for rugby learning and social activities.
The Club is proud to represent our local communities and is committed to
developing junior rugby in Auckland’s eastern suburbs.
• We cater for both weight, restricted and open grade teams within the
juniors for ages Under 6 (nursery) to Under 13 (U6 & U7 plays ripper rugby).
• Great coaching and friendly team management with the aim of player
development and having fun!
• Experienced and supportive Junior Rugby Committee.
• Excellent facilities (4 full-sized playing fields PLUS a huge separate
training ground with awesome lighting).
• Varsity juniors have a 6-week pre-season training academy (10–13 year
olds) focusing on fitness, speed and skills (optional). Starts 05 February.
• Varsity has a very strong representative background within senior rugby
for Super Rugby, Auckland and NZ Universities. We also encourage high
honours within junior representative rugby for year 7 & 8 students for
Bill McLaren (open), Walter Dickson (55kg) and Roller Mills (45 & 55kg).
Varsity U11 winning the U12 grade at the second Super7s Rugby Tournament in October 2012,
Auckland Marist Rugby Club. Also winner of the U11 grade of the first Super7s in September 2012.
