<strong>The</strong> legs, cajoled by flattery,<br />

Did give consent ;<br />

as <strong>the</strong>y were bid,<br />

Behind a log <strong>the</strong> leggins hid ;<br />

<strong>The</strong>m <strong>the</strong>y would show ano<strong>the</strong>r day<br />

To Manabo-zho, <strong>and</strong> declare<br />

That truly <strong>the</strong>y had found <strong>the</strong>m <strong>the</strong>re.
