IDC Herzliya ≤∞∞∏≠≤∞∞π Activities ties of the Raphael Recanati International School At Home Together – Adopting Families Project This special Jewish Agency for Israel project brings together Israeli families and new immigrants. The school’s staff introduces students to Israeli families. Getting to know the Land of Israel The school organizes a number of trips for students during the academic year to destinations all over Israel such as the Judean Desert, the Golan Heights and the northern Galilee, as well as archaeology sites, in order to strengthen their connection to the State of Israel. The President’s Touring Club also organizes a number of hikes during the academic year, in some of which IDC Herzliya's President, Prof. Uriel Reichman takes part. Cooking Workshop A fun, friendly cooking workshop is offered to the school’s students in order to teach them basic cooking terminology in Hebrew. Bicycle Trip During the academic year, a bicycle trip is held for students, faculty and administrative staff in the Jerusalem Mountains. IDC Herzliya ≤∞∞∏≠≤∞∞π Programs for Outstanding Students The Zell Entrepreneurship Program The Zell Entrepreneurship Program is designed for outstanding students with proven business and leadership abilities in their final year of studies. The program, which is taught in English, provides students with practical tools and theoretical knowledge to establish and operate an entrepreneurial venture, from the inception of an idea to fruition of a company producing value. This year-long academic program begins in the summer and continues through the academic year. In addition to establishing a venture, students will participate in courses and workshops in various areas that are particularly relevant to business entrepreneurs. The studant will also participate in an entrepreneurship workshop that consists of lectures and meetings with entrepreneurs, investors and professionals involved in various stages of establishing a venture. The program also includes a 10-day study tour abroad. The program’s admissions requirements include an outstanding academic record and familiarity with business entrepreneurship. 17 Programs for Outstanding
