At Home Together – Adopting<br />
Families Project<br />
This special Jewish Agency for Israel<br />
project brings together Israeli families<br />
and new immigrants. The school’s staff<br />
introduces students to Israeli families.<br />
Getting to know the Land of<br />
Israel<br />
The school organizes a number of trips<br />
for students during the academic year<br />
to destinations all over Israel such as<br />
the Judean Desert, the Golan Heights<br />
and the northern Galilee, as well<br />
as archaeology sites, in order to<br />
strengthen their connection to the<br />
State of Israel. The President’s Touring<br />
Club also organizes a number of hikes<br />
during the academic year, in some of<br />
which <strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong>'s President, Prof.<br />
Uriel Reichman takes part.<br />
Cooking Workshop<br />
A fun, friendly cooking workshop is offered to the school’s<br />
students in order to teach them basic cooking terminology<br />
in Hebrew.<br />
Bicycle Trip<br />
During the academic year, a bicycle trip is held for students,<br />
faculty and administrative staff in the Jerusalem Mountains.<br />
