3 DX MAGAZINE No. 5 P Vol. XLVI P May 2011 Hello again, Welcome to another issue of our DX MAGAZINE. I’m very sad to report this month that my dear old DX friend and long time member OM Thomas Kubaczewski has died on April 14th, 2011, in the age of 65. I have known Thomas for more than 40 years, and many of you will also know him as the organizer of several DX meetings in Berlin on the occasion of the International Radio and TV Exhibition. My deepest condolences go to his wife Elisabeth and his two adult children. Me and all those who have known Thomas will never forget him. I have no other news to report from inside the club this month - therefore let's just start with our usual news from outside the club: The WRTH Editorial team is pleased to announce that the Summer/'A' season broadcasting schedules file is now available to download, free of charge, from the WRTH website - click on and follow the link "Latest PDF Updates". The file is in PDF format (you will require the free Adobe Acrobat reader, v7 or above to open this file. The 97 page file is just over 900kB in size and contains the following information: Summer / 'A' Season broadcasting schedules for over 200 international and Clandestine/Target stations; Frequency listing of the above stations to facilitate band scanning; Broadcasts in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish; International DRM broadcasts. We hope you find this a useful accompaniment to the printed WRTH. On behalf of the publisher and editorial team at WRTH, happy listening! (Sean D.
