324 The Meaning of Sufficiency Economy International Conference Research Methodology Four villages has been selected which are near to the Himalayan region. These villages come under Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (NDBR), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (NDBR) in 1988 as a mechanism to protect cultural and biological diversity especially in parts of the Valley that is within the buffer zone of the Biosphere (Hoon, 1996). These villages are supposed to be having high intensity of execution of these government schemes in the hill region. Total 100 sample size has been selected 25 from each village. Percentage method has been used in for interpretation of the findings.
