Rubber Information<br />

The rubber blocks and elements used in <strong>Renold</strong> Hi-Tec <strong>Couplings</strong><br />

are key elements in the coupling design. Strict quality control is<br />

applied in the manufacture, and frequent testing is part of the<br />

production process.<br />

Rubber-in-Compression<br />

These designs use non-bonded components, which allows for<br />

many synthetic elastomers to be employed.<br />

These elastomers offer considerable advantages over others for<br />

specific applications, giving <strong>Renold</strong> Hi-Tec <strong>Couplings</strong> a<br />

distinctive lead in application engineering in specialised areas.<br />

Rubber in Shear<br />

These designs use high tear strength, low creep natural rubber<br />

developed for diesel engine drives.<br />

All rubber in shear couplings are 100% tested to ensure<br />

bond/moulding integrity.<br />
