Robert Goodl<strong>and</strong> is an environmental scientist specialising<br />

in economic development. He advised the World Bank<br />

from 1978 to 2001, <strong>and</strong> became technical director to the<br />

World Bank’s Extractive Industries Review.<br />

Dr. Stuart Kirsch is a Professor of Anthropology at<br />

University of Michigan, who worked for many years on the<br />

Ok Tedi copper <strong>and</strong> gold mine in Papua New Guinea <strong>and</strong> is<br />

author, among other publications, of Reverse Anthropology:<br />

<strong>Indigenous</strong> Analysis of Social <strong>and</strong> Environmental Relations<br />

in New Guinea.<br />

Roger Moody is features editor of the Mines <strong>and</strong><br />

Communities website. He is an experienced international<br />

researcher <strong>and</strong> campaigner who has focused on the issue<br />

of mining, especially as it relates to indigenous peoples. He<br />

has been the keynote speaker at a number of international<br />

events, <strong>and</strong> is the author of many highly acclaimed works<br />

including the Gulliver File <strong>and</strong> <strong>Indigenous</strong> Voice.<br />

Geoff Nettleton is Coordinator of <strong>Indigenous</strong> <strong>Peoples</strong><br />

<strong>Links</strong> (PIP<strong>Links</strong>). He worked with Anti Slavery International,<br />

Cordillera <strong>Peoples</strong> Alliance (<strong>Philippine</strong>s), <strong>Philippine</strong><br />

Resource Centre (UK), among others, for more than<br />

30 years. He is a member of the advisory Board of the<br />

International Work Group on <strong>Indigenous</strong> Affairs (Denmark).<br />

Legborsi Saro Pyagbara is International Advocacy<br />

Officer for the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni<br />

People (MOSOP) in Nigeria. He is a board member of the<br />

ESCR-Net: international rights network.<br />

Brian Wyatt is Chief Executive Officer of the National<br />

Native Title Council, <strong>and</strong> was previously chief executive of<br />

the Goldfields L<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> Sea Council for 11 years.
