Much of the emphasis around good practice for indigenous<br />

peoples is on production of materials that explore the issue of<br />

benefit sharing. These are often encapsulated in Impact <strong>and</strong><br />

Benefit Agreements (IBAs). IBAs are essentially the contracts<br />

made between a community <strong>and</strong> a company. To get to an IBA<br />

it should mean that a community has given consent, <strong>and</strong> is
