Recently, several locations have been reported for
having oleanders. Please be reminded that they are
prohibited and must be removed. Prohibited plants
for Sun City Anthem include olive (all types), oleander,
mulberry and Bermuda Grass. Also, for your
information, the ARC can no longer approve grass in
the front yard (City Restriction). However, you may
have up to fifty percent of your rear yard in grass if
you so desire.
Please submit all exterior changes to your property
to the ARC prior to having the work done. This
prevents costly mistakes that would be required to be
corrected. The ARC meets each Thursday morning
at 9:00 a.m. to review plans. The meeting is held in
the Emerson-Franklin room at Anthem Center. ✸

Upon motion duly made by Roger Cooper, seconded by
Bob Berman and unanimously carried, the Board accepted
and approved the corrections of the Consent Agenda
with special notice to include the following items:
Covenants Committee cases including 618, 627, 628,
632, 635, 636, 629, 630, 631, 622, and 637.
Enforcement Department cases #07-21, 0724, 28, and
30. ARC’s approval of items 2007-4-1m 2007-4-2, 2007-
4-2, 2007-4-4, 2007-4-5, 2007-4-6, 2007-4-7, 2007-4-8,
2007-4-9, 2007-4-10, 2007-4-11-2007-4-12.
Upon motion duly made by Dave Weil, seconded by
Roger Cooper and unanimously carried, the Board
accepted and approved the Financial Statement of March
2007.
Upon motion duly made by Dea McDonald, seconded
by Kay Dwyer, with Favil West, Roger Cooper and Bob
Berman recusing themselves from the vote on the
Resolution Establishing use of the Community Service

Board Meeting Summary
Resolutions Adopted by the SCACAI Board of Directors
at the April. 26, 2007 Board Meeting.
Building, the remaining Board accepted the recommendation
and the vote carried.
Upon motion Kay Dwyer and unanimously carried, the
Board approved the Community Wide Standards Version
1.2 and post on web-site.
Upon motion duly made by Dave Weil, seconded by
Roger Cooper and unanimously carried, the Board
approved Cleo Interiors as the successful bidder for
interior finishes.
Upon motion duly made by Dave Weil, seconded by
Elaine Berg and unanimously carried, the Board approved
the selection of ADT to consult on the Security and
Access system to assist in analyzing our security needs.
Upon motion duly made by Bob Berman, seconded by
Roger Cooper and unanimously carried, the Board
approved the purchase of a 6-cylinder vehicle for the Sun
City Anthem Security Patrol.
