Solution Portfolio
A range of Meru products makes up the Meru Virtualized
Wireless LAN—an integrated solution developed specifically for
midsized to large organizations where high volumes of traffic
and essential applications depend on wireless networks.
Operating system: Meru System Director gives you
intelligent network control for reliable, scalable, predictable
Wi-Fi access.
Management software: Meru offers a complete range
of management tools for virtualized wireless LANs, from
advanced network management applications for predicting
and simplifying WLAN operations to complete security
management to a guest management solution for automating
onboarding devices in BYOD networks.
Controllers: Meru controllers deliver five times the capacity
of other controllers, without taking up more data center
space and power.
Virtual controllers: Meru virtual mobility controllers and
appliances give customers flexibility and choice in how
they deploy their wireless network. These VMware-based
virtual components operate on x86 computing platforms
in a VMware environment and can operate alongside other
enterprise applications on the same platform.
Access points: Meru access points are built specifically
with mobility in mind and engineered to avoid the costly and
complex overlay networks other architectures require.
Appliances: The Meru Services Appliance family delivers
comprehensive management of 802.11 networks and the
highest level of security.
