We Want to Hear From You
The Spokesman magazine focuses on what Local
25 is doing for you, the members. But there are
many interesting stories to tell and Local 25 is asking
for your help in identifying them.
Do you work with another Local 25 Teamster
who should be recognized for their community
service? Do you have a coworker who has an
unusual hobby that you think others might be
interested in? Is there a Teamster you work with
who you think should be singled out for going
above and beyond their normal call of duty?
There are many interesting stories that only
YOU might know about. Please let us know about
them so they can be profiled in upcoming issues
of The Spokesman. If you have an interesting
story, please e-mail ssullivan@teamsterslocal25.com
or write to:
Save Baby Giovanni
Local 25 leaders and members have been
big supporters of Baby Giovanni’s quest
for a bone-marrow donor. The infant
suffers from NEMO deficiency, a genetic
disorder named for a protein that is
important for normal function of the
immune system, as well as the skin, teeth,
hair, bones, and the intestinal tract.
Local 25 members who want to help
are urged to visit Local 25’s web site,
www.teamsterslocal25.com, and click
on the “Save Giovanni” button.
